United Shipping Inc., the premier Worldwide Association of Independent Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers with over 100 member companies and 200 offices announced today the appointment of William L. Griffin & Co., Inc as its newest member. WLGCI is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota and has 2 other office locations in the US.
WLGCI was formed in 1983 and has experienced tremendous growth over the past 23 years. They have a staff of over 27 persons with freight forwarding and customs brokers’ experience, three focusing primarily on sales. Their bonded warehouse with over 30,000 square feet of space enables them to provide their clients with services that set them apart from others in the industry. “We currently do business with United Shipping partners in Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and France to name a few and are extremely pleased that the Membership Committee and Board of Directors have accepted the William L. Griffin & Co., Inc as it’s exclusive partner in Minneapolis,” said William Griffin in a recent interview. “We plan on sending two of our employees to the October 2006 meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina; one being Erin Doyle, Vice President. We also are looking forward to being a vital contributor to the United Shipping group,” continued Mr. Griffin.
