Anglia has handled the Triumph account for more than 20 years and continues to supply excellent customer care and service. It is for this reason that Anglia was invited to sponsor Triumph at their Global Dealer Conference (GDC) to take place in Birmingham, UK on July 19 – 21st, 2008. The GDC will attract over 1100 dealers and distributors from around the world with an objective of not only further opening doors for Anglia, but also bringing business to more United Shipping Partners. This GDC offers great value and far reaching opportunities for all of the USI partnership. As USI continues to seek new opportunities to grow and perform at a high level in the industry, we will support the Global Dealer Conference event in conjunction with Anglia and MSI, Thailand. Fred Hall, President, will represent USI at the conference and man an information booth alongside our Anglia Forwarding partners.

As part of this sponsorship, Triumph will hand out several awards bearing the logo of USI and Anglia. Triumph will also supply a complete list of conference attendees and their business interests. These will be sent to relevant partners for follow-up sales. This follow-up will be of utmost importance to the established relationship between Triumph and Anglia Forwarding. Derek Moxon, Joint Managing Director of Anglia Forwarding states, “Anglia has only been involved in the shipment of parts, accessories and clothing. The shipment of motorcycles has always been handled by two other competitors. I have targeted the movement of bikes from the UK to the USA for several years and it is hoped that GDC will give us the best opportunity to date to secure this traffic. This includes shipments into 6 – 7 locations in the USA very close to being secured”.
