United Shipping Inc., the premier Worldwide Association of Independent Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokers announced today the appointment of Salam Shipping and Forwarding as its newest member. Salam Shipping & Forwarding (SSF) was established in 1993 to serve as the Freight Forwarding leg of the Naouri Group.

The unlimited dedication and motivation of its management and staff blossomed over the years to make it one of the leading freight forwarder in Jordan, employing about 40 persons in its 6 branches in Amman, Aqaba, Amman Inland Terminal, Queen Alia International Airport, Irbid Cyber City, Zarqa Freezone.

We are one the first Freight Forwarder to become a member of the Jordan Customs Golden List Program, a program created by Jordan Customs in collaboration with USAID and Achievement of Market-Friendly Initiative and Result Program, which is equivalent to Customs-Trade partnership against Terrorism. In 2006 SSF became a member of the CASS (Cargo Agents Settlement Agreement) program in Jordan,” stated Mr. Marwan Oweiss, Executive Manager.

SSF provides a diverse range of services including RO/RO, international road transportation, customs clearing, shipping and forwarding services, trucking, sea and air transportation, door to door deliveries and warehousing.
